Kim and Selena were determined and gave a good hard effort all day despite the 21 degree morning. We had to scrub every spot for that elusive winter steelhead. Finally, with only two more spots to try, “Set that!” Five fish in a row! Some days she makes you work for it.

Day Two. Lets all go fishing on the Rogue!  Wild Waters Fly Fishing is putting a lot of focus on the Rogue River for 2012. We wanted to introduce the Orvis store managers to a great year-round fishery. Two days in a row without seeing any other anglers.

Hot weather heats up the McCloud River. It depends on who you ask, but if you ask me I say she is fishing pretty good. Another Big Brown for the Hall of Fame. Are you wishing you were fishing too?

One of the biggest browns we have ever seen, every cast these monsters should be in the back of your mind. A big fish on the McCloud is 16 inches but this was almost twice as long.
