Day Two. Lets all go fishing on the Rogue!  Wild Waters Fly Fishing is putting a lot of focus on the Rogue River for 2012. We wanted to introduce the Orvis store managers to a great year-round fishery. Two days in a row without seeing any other anglers.

We are having some great fishing on the Klamath! Its the end of December and everyone is eagerly awaiting the next storm cycle and run of big winter fish. Few anglers are seen out there these days, the ones that are out there are recognized. People in the know.

The upper stretches of the Rogue is always a good place to hunt for a nice winter fish. Overall the fishing was a bit slow, but some days its all about a few nice fish like this hen. Plan a trip as soon as we see some rain. The best is yet to come.

Tom and Geoff fished with Keith on Sat. and they had a lot of great things to say.   So I was glad the fish were eating again on Sun.  These guys were great to have in the boat, we had some good laughs and caught some good fish.  The Klamath River treated us proper.

Keith Lyon took Tom and Louie down the Klamath for some steelhead on the spey rod. Two days of drifting from run to run on the historical sections of the Klamath River, swinging local patterns for some steel.

The Klamathon Lodge played host to 10 anglers and 5 guides.  Fun was had by all on and off the water.  Ken thank you so much for coming up.  We look forward to next year.
